Here are a few local events you can go to this fall to celebrate Halloween.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our client appreciation party at Vanish Brewery on October 17. It was really great to see everyone. Today I thought I would share some other great ideas to celebrate fall and Halloween.

  • If you haven’t gotten your pumpkins yet or decorated for fall, a great place to go is Meadows Farms Nursery. They have numerous locations around the area and great fall decorating packages that you can order online and pick up at one of their nurseries. Their decorating package includes hay, corn stalks, mums, pumpkins, and assorted gourds at great prices.
  • Another great option to buy pumpkins is Great Country Farms in Bluemont. You can get lost in their corn maze, and they have a great playground area for children.

  • Another option for families with children is the Air and Scare event at the National Air and Space Museum at the Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly on Saturday, October 30 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is free, but you do have to get tickets online. They’ll have trick or treat stations with free candy and crafts as well as spooky experiments and crafts. You’ll even have an opportunity to take photos with your favorite Star Wars characters.

  • If haunted houses are more your thing, you can always go to Shocktober in Leesburg. It was ranked the fifth scariest haunted house in the country. When you buy your tickets online, it raises money for The Arc of Loudoun, which is a great cause that helps people with disabilities.

  • Dirt Farm Brewery and Pet Supplies Plus are hosting Howloween on the Mountain on Sunday, October 31 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dress your pup up in your favorite Halloween costume, and you might win a prize.
  • Vanish Farmwoods Brewery is hosting their Night of the Living Brews party and releasing their Halloween beer on Saturday, October 30 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. There will be live music, tarot card readings, a food truck, and a DJ dance event in the evening.

If you have any questions about any of these events or any real estate matters, please don’t hesitate to contact me at 703-729-7001. I’d love to hear from you and answer any questions you may have.
