Here are the latest market statistics for Northern Virginia real estate.

I have a quick update for you on the Northern Virginia real estate market. Now that summer is halfway over and vacations are well underway, how is the market doing? 

Our median sale price at the end of June was $603,000. This is up 14.9% from 2020 and flat from last month. New listings are up 36% year over year and 5% month-over-month. New pendings are up 10.7% year-over-year, but down 6% month-over-month. Finally, the average days on market has remained relatively flat at 11.

It’s too early to see if there is a shift happening, but I’m keeping an eye on things. For the time being, we’re still seeing high prices and multiple offers on many of our listings.
