Make sure to mark your calendar for these exciting Fourth of July events!
July Fourth is fast approaching—do you want to visit local places where you can watch fireworks? Today I’m sharing some of the cool locations where you and your family can watch fireworks. Keep in mind that since July Fourth falls on a Tuesday this year, some displays and parades will be held on the preceding Saturday.
One of the places you can visit is Fairfax City. They will be hosting an Independence Evening Show and Fireworks at Fairfax High School on Saturday, July 2, from 6:30 pm. to 10:30 pm. There will be food trucks, vendors, and a performance by the Vienna Falls Chorus. A shuttle bus will run from Woodson High School in Fairfax. Additionally, Fairfax City is organizing an Independence Day parade in downtown Fairfax on Tuesday, July 4, starting at 10 a.m.
The town of Herndon is also hosting a celebration and fireworks display on Tuesday, July 4, at Brady Park. The event will feature live music and games, and the fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m.. In Leesburg, the Independence Day parade will take place on Tuesday, July 4, along King Street, starting at 10 a.m.. As always, Leesburg will also hold a concert and fireworks at Idol Park on the same day, with music, food, and fireworks. The gates will open at 6 p.m.
If you’re in Fredericksburg, you can head to Riverfront Park for live music, activities, food, and drinks. Another option is attending the Fredericksburg Nationals baseball game, which starts at 4:30 p.m. and will be followed by fireworks around 9 p.m. Pratt Park in Fredericksburg is also hosting fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
